Cora Jean Quiroz
Cora Jean Quiroz is a painter and muralist from southeastern Michigan. There she achieved an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. In Ohio, Cora worked as an art and mural instructor for youth through the Toledo Arts Commission. For three years she traveled the Midwest with muralist Ken Dushane, working on over 25 murals. In Phoenix, she is a volunteer and resident artist at the Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center and a member of Cahokia, an Indigenous-led Social Tech and Art Space. Cora is a recent graduate from Arizona State University, where she studied for a degree in Fine Art and graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude. She is enlisting in the Air Force. After her service to the country, she plans to use her education and experience in art and life to give back to young artists as a teacher.
